In the interest of transparency, The Straight Toke would like to make clear its policies:

Advertising/Commercial

  • The Straight Toke does not accept any form of compensation, monetary or otherwise, in exchange for the creation, promotion, or publication of content. This includes paid reviews.
  • The Straight Toke does not endorse any products. Mentions of a specific product or service should not be considered an endorsement of that product/service.
  • The Straight Toke does not link to, post about, or otherwise promote any commercial TV shows, comics, movies, or other forms of media in response to solicitations by the content creator(s) or PR firms acting on behalf of the content creator.

Promotion of Drug Use

  • The Straight Toke does not endorse the use of marijuana in jurisdictions where its possession, manufacture, sale, or consumption is illegal.
  • The Straight Toke does not endorse the violation of any laws.
  • The Straight Toke does endorse the use of legal, nonviolent means in an attempt to change drug policy.

Personal Responsibility

  • Readers are responsible for their own actions. (This is obvious, and we don't have to say it, but in case there's any confusion...)

Link Exchange

  • The Straight Toke does not exchange links with any retail sites, or sites that exist solely for the promotion or sale of a product (or products.)
