Julius' Favorite Strain
Do you have a favourite strain?
Yes, I do. My all time favorite smoke is Lemon Stinky by Crazy X Seeds. It's a mostly-Indica blend with a gorgeous citrus smoke and a clean finish. It's got a pretty strong head high though, so if I'm gonna smoke some I'll blend my smoke with an softer strain to add a stronger body stone and cool the high some. It's a nice compact bud-laden plant too -- so it's a great choice for a small indoor grow.
I'm also a fan of Malonica, also produced by Crazy X Seeds. It's a very strong Sativa, and produces some gorgeous crystal-laden buds.
While I've enjoyed Lemon Stinky without blending it with an Indica, it's pretty much mandatory that you do so with Malonica. Otherwise, the head high will over power the pleasant body effects that this strain can produce. Personally, I'd recommend your final smoking blend being about 80% Malonica, 20% of some other Indica. Such a blend will preserve the Sativa head high, but will tone it down enough to be manageable. The photo to the left is an actual shot of Malonica -- and yes, the buds it produces really will look like that. Click the image for a larger, more mouth-watering picture.
New smokers might want to opt for Leda Uno, if only for the ease of growing. It's a good strain in its own right and although it produces a less lucid high than Lemon Stinky, it makes up for it by being a lot less overpowering. I prefer the taste of Leda Uno too -- it's a much crisper citrus taste than Lemon Stinky, and smoke (although quite thick) isn't as sticky as Lemon Stinky.
So there you have it -- three great strains of Cannabis: Lemon Stinky, Leda Uno, and Malonica.
Update: As "ap" pointed out, Lemon Stinky is primarily Indica-based. I'll leave it up to the reader to guess why I made the error in the first place ;-)

Whoops. You're right. I've corrected the mistake -- looking at my drafts, I initially had a different strain there (a hybrid that is closely related to Lemon Stinky, but a different 60/40 in favor of Sativa)-- but changed it at the last minute. Unfortunately, I didn't read over the article too carefully after the change. Sorry for any confusion. (And thanks for pointing that out.)
