As I pointed out in a previous article on different ways to ingest cannabis (including eating it), THC is fat-soluble, and thus is metabolized best when consumed with fatty foods.

A reader recently suggested two additional alternate ingestion methods:

1. Dip a nug into honey, let it soak for a bit, and chew on it.
2. Grind up some marijuana, sprinkle it into peanut butter, and put it on crackers.

Hope these tips help when you're looking to make some snacks that will give you the munchies.

Just a heads-up to those tokers in Phoenix, AZ (in the United States) -- when crossing the border, make sure that your car is clean. The Border Patrol has taken to stopping all inbound cars, and letting sniffer dogs find those who choose to smoke pot. Granted, this is most likely illegal under the Fourth Ammendment to the US Constitution ("The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated") -- but that isn't stopping them from working on busting even small-time smokers:

so i scraped a bowl pretty clean yesterday but i'm still out of stuff so i was taking really long hits today to try and burn something. But the lighter (a bic) left this really fine resedue in the sides of my clean bowl; normally I wouldn't have noticed it. Is it unsafe to take really long and hot hits with normal lighters?
